Efficient and Accurate Physically Based Rendering of Periodic Multilayer Structures with Iridescence

Rendering results of the Vase model made of silicon material coated with various periodaic multilayer films.

Abstruct

We propose a method for rendering iridescence caused by periodic multilayer structures by employing Huxley's approach. Our approach can compute multilayer interference efficiently and accurately.
